Vodka Pasta Sauce

A delicious vodka pasta sauce made with diced onion, tomato paste, and heavy cream, perfect to accompany cooked pasta. The sauce is simmered with vodka and finished with Parmigiano cheese, creating a comforting meal.

What you need

can tomato paste

onion

oz pasta

oz butter

fl oz vodka

oz parmigiano reggiano cheese

can tomato puree
Instructions
1: Dice one onion. 2: Cook it with butter until translucent. 3: Add tomato paste to taste. 4: Turn up the heat and add a little less than a glass of vodka. 5: Wait until you don’t smell alcohol anymore. 6: Add one can of tomato purée. 7: Let it simmer for 30 minutes or so. 8: Cook some pasta and just when it's about to be ready, add heavy cream to the sauce over low heat. 9: Finish cooking the pasta in the sauce for a couple of minutes, adding it when it's VERY al dente. 10: Finish with Parmigiano to taste (and butter if desired) off the heat. 11: Serve and enjoy!View original recipe
